    About the book

Step behind the counter of a Glasgow community pharmacy during the first weeks of the pandemic. With hospitals overwhelmed and surgeries closed to walk-ins, local pharmacies became the lifeline, and Elizabeth kept a diary of it all: the shortages, the fear, the improvised solutions and the patients who needed far more than a prescription. The Other Frontline is a tribute to the teams who quietly held community healthcare together, and an eye-opening account of what pharmacies really do.
