About the author
Sally Evans
Author & Founder of Château George 7
Sally Evans is a fantastic example of how to embrace midlife change. After a corporate career based in Paris and the South of France while raising two sons, she yearned for a major change in her early fifties. After diving into wine studies at 52, she bought a parcel of mature vines and some rundown buildings and created Château George 7. She bottled her first wine aged 58, and today her boutique winery on the right bank of Bordeaux produces award-winning wines served in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe and the US, alongside a superb wine tourism venue.
